our short Portland experience consisted of:
a seafood dinner on a floating restaurant,
a street art detour, 
fresh lobster
with an amazing outdoor view,
happy stomachs,
lots of crunchy autumn leaves,
cute corner streets,
sweet family owned shops,
my newly founded favorite bakery,
with the most absolutely delicious pumpkin whoopie pies,
a free brewery tour/beer tastings at shipyard,
a freezing but beautiful ferry boat ride,
that gave us a great view of portland,
with unbelievable colors in the sky,
and a quirky wine bar with an amazing conversation that can only be shared with your childhood best friend.
p.s. we shared many deliriously silly moments together :)

ahh amazing! i've heard that Portland is a great place to live.. you get the beach, mountains, green, and city all in one place.
