wonderful weekend

Despite my fleeting summer fever on Friday, I managed to make full recovery + still enjoy the rest of the sunny weekend.

friday
fever hit. stayed in bed most of the day. watched Hurt Locker. lounged around and read. watched the new Modern Family episode on Hulu (obsessssssed). Kit bought an entire cake to make me feel better, which of course, worked :)

saturday
car ride with Kit + his sweet Boxer/Pitbull dog, Rain. spontaneously decided to go fishing! got a fishing license, bait, and other miscellaneous things I would never know to purchase, then headed to Lake Lanier. circled the park for awhile, realizing it was purely recreational with no fishing areas besides out in the boats. headed over to another park called Buford Dam. found a spot and patiently waited for a fish to bite. and waited some more. caught lots of sticks that caused false hope! hahah sadly, no fish. the man across from us caught a huge codfish though. found another spot but no luck. watched the sun fall and ended the night with dinner with my parents + a movie to stay in.

sunday
ended up going back to Buford Dam for a picnic. twice because we had to drop Rain off after realizing no pets allowed... yummy food, nature trails, lake, and a long-lasting water balloon/straight up water fight. hit the pool + played water basketball. read poolside. ate my favorite meal ever at home. then ended the night/started the next day with a trip to JeJu Sauna, a huge haven for relaxation. for Koreans, better known as jjimjilbang. 7 saunas total, each built for different purposes for the body. ate fried boiled eggs (so good!) + relaxed like no other. left feeling so revitalized + refreshed! an awesome way to start off the week.
